Almost identical to our regular Charcoal Detox bar, but this batch has lost it's scent. As it's such a dark bar it's hard to tell visually if one of the oils has started to turn and that's why the scent is not right, but even so, the scent profile is no longer what it should be so we've decided to discount the rest of the batch. This does not effect the quality of the bar, it's still a great bar of soap.

Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic sustainable palm, organic olive, grapeseed, unrefined organic cocoa butter, and castor bean, activated charcoal, rosemary oil extract, and essential oils of rosewood, lavender, lemon, anise, organic peppermint, organic rosemary, and organic eucalyptus.

Charcoal Detox Seconds
I wanted to try this bar even though I don't have complexion problems, so when Seconds were offered, I snapped it up. It arrived with a very thin film of white powder, which I think I should have rinsed off before using it. I say this because I thought it sort of "stung" my skin at first. But that never happened again after the film of powder was gone. I think it leaves my skin feeling really clean and soft. I would be careful about getting it on clothing, although the black probably rinses right out - I do wipe it off from where I splatter it around the sink as I rinse. If you are dealing with any skin irritations or acne, I strongly recommend that you give this a try, whether the regular bar of the seconds - but if it's a second, I suggest giving it a bit of a rinse before using it on your face. I think you will really be happy with it.
