Product Overview
A vinegar hair rinse is a critical part of your shampoo bar regimen. You can read more about why this is so important in our article How to Use a Shampoo Bar. For this version of our rinse, we decided to package it in a convenient spray bottle that will allow you to use the rinse at full strength. Then refill your spray bottle from our Concentrate which is packaged in glass for less waste. One bottle of our Concentrate will fill one spray bottle.
Our herbal vinegar hair rinse is now made with RAW certified organic apple cider vinegar - with the mother (if you're not familiar with what that is, trust us, it is a good thing!) The vinegar is infused with nine certified organic herbs that your hair and scalp will love. Packed with trace minerals and vitamins, these herbs will nourish your scalp and strengthen your hair shaft. The acid in the vinegar removes scaly build up and residue on the scalp and hair shaft and closes the cuticles causing them to lie flat and SHINE. Vinegar also restores the natural pH balance of your scalp, preventing it from becoming dried out and itchy. Your hair will look and feel soft and healthy.
After washing your hair with one of our conditioning shampoo bars, spritz the herbal vinegar rinse all over damp hair and scalp. Do this step before washing the rest of your body so the rinse can soak in. Then rinse it out very briefly. The vinegar smell will go away as your hair dries. Use once or twice weekly—or as needed.
If you'd prefer to dilute the rinse, check out our bottle of Concentrate and our Application Bottles. Same product, different storage and application process.
PLEASE NOTE: Vinegar is not a conditioner. But rinsing with apple cider vinegar will help balance the pH of your hair and will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.
Ingredients: certified organic raw apple cider vinegar infused with certified organic herbs of marshmallow root, horsetail, nettles, chamomile, lavender, comfrey, rosemary, calendula, and yarrow.

This product comes in an 8 oz. bottle with a trigger sprayer that must be unlocked before you can dispense the product. There is a little tab/button right under the sprayer, just above the part of the sprayer head which screws onto the actual bottle that needs to be pushed in. This will unlock the sprayer mechanism. Using this locking mechanism makes taking your hair rinse with you when traveling easy and hassle free, as you don't need to worry about leakage.
(Our labels currently do not indicate that this is made with organic apple cider vinegar, but it is the exact same product as our Concentrate).
20 ml samples packaged in a frosted mini-sprayer (perfect for traveling!) are available for $3.45 each.
If you can't tolerate the scent of vinegar, you may want to try one of our beautifully scented Scented Citric Acid Rinses.

Awesome product
I love this, my hair is happier and healthier thanks to AV shampoo bars and this rinse. I don't rinse it our and it leaves my hair shiny and lovely, my husband keeps touching my hair & loves it too. Thank you

Great stuff
I may be weird but I love the scent of ACV so I had no qualms about trying out this product. I found the container and sprayer genius and extremely helpful in putting it on my hair. It does what it says and I like the add bonus of the herbs added in. An added, and unexpected, bonus is that it has helped clear up the stubborn acne around my hair line and shoulders :)

Essential
I love this vinegar rinse and the spray bottle is fantastic for getting the right amount in your hair. After using one of the many fantastic shampoo bars, I will spray my hair and let it soak in. Although there is no need to rinse it out, it is my preference to rinse and follow with the Relax scent Jojoba Oil. When I first started using the shampoo bars I used the vinegar rinse daily. After a few weeks and finding the right shampoo bar for me I now use it once or twice a week. My hair is definitely happier and healthier. No more bad hair days for me!

Love!
I love that this vinegar rinse has other ingredients added to help benefit your hair and scalp and tone down the vinegar smell. Of course you can still smell the vinegar but I'd be a little concerned if I didn't! The smell does go away quickly as your hair dries! This is really convenient to use compared to me making my own rinse without all of the other great ingredients in this. It sprays a light mist and makes it easy cover your entire head.

Can't do without it!
I love the herbs AVNS used to infuse their ACV rinse. ACV itself is not really my preferred scent, but the scent of the herbs definitely makes it better! The herbal properties are also more conditioning than using plain ACV. When my hair dries, I can't smell any vinegar (tested by my husband too). My hair just smells like clean hair. This is a must for my hair cleansing regimen to prevent buildup of hair product or the occasional soap residue feeling (unless I get a water softener). The most frequently I will use this is every other wash, which equates to about twice a week for me. I love the spray bottle, although I purchased this when the spray bottle was shaped a little differently.

Quick and easy pampering
I regularly use a vinegar/water spray to smooth my hair so a vinegar rinse isn't all that new to me, but I LOVE the herbs in this product. I let it dry in my hair without rinsing it and it left a very light herbal scent and lovely soft hair. The fine mist spray was great at getting my hair covered without wasting any product. I really love that I didn't have to mix it up!

Awesome Product!
Stills smells like Vinegar(would it be all natural if it didn't!?) but the added herbs tone the smell down, in my opinion. It is super convenient and sprays a fine mist throughout the hair, making it easy to distribute! This is a fabulous product for those who don't like the hassle of an ACV but still want the benefits.

Convenient!
I bought this a month or two back and have been using it since then. It is really convenient to use and it prevents too much apple cider vinegar getting onto other parts of my face and body which I don't particularly fancy when pouring over my head! I can't say I love the smell but it works for my hair and scalp and I can't say enough how much more convenient it is compared to making my very own apple cider vinegar rinse!
