A vinegar hair rinse is a critical part of your shampoo bar regimen. You can read more about why this is so important in our article How to Use a Shampoo Bar. Many people just mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water and pour it over their scalp. It's kind of a pain in the rumpus diddilyumpus, so we decided to make a rinse loaded with good stuff for your scalp and hair - and then package it in a convenient spray bottle that will last a long time.
Our herbal vinegar hair rinse is infused with nine certified organic herbs your hair and scalp will love. Packed with trace minerals and vitamins, these herbs will nourish your scalp and strengthen your hair shaft. The acid in the vinegar removes scaly build up and residue on the scalp and hair shaft and closes the cuticles causing them to lie flat and SHINE. Vinegar also restores the natural pH balance of your scalp, preventing it from becoming dried out and itchy. Your hair will look and feel soft and healthy.
After washing your hair with one of our conditioning shampoo bars, spritz the herbal vinegar rinse all over damp hair and scalp. I usually do this step before I wash the rest of my body so the rinse can soak in. Then I rinse it out very briefly. The vinegar smell will go away as your hair dries.
Use once or twice weekly—or as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Vinegar is not a conditioner. While it will give your hair beautiful softness and shine, it will not moisturize or condition your hair. As an acid, it acts as a clarifier and pH balancer when using shampoo bars which are slightly base.
Ingredients: apple cider vinegar infused with organic herbs of marshmallow root, horsetail, nettles, chamomile, lavender, comfrey, rosemary, calendula, and yarrow.

If you can't tolerate the scent of vinegar, you may want to try one of our beautifully scented Citric Acid Rinses.
So grateful for this rinse. Leaves my hair soft after I've washed it with one of AVNS shampoo bars. The scent does not linger long after my hair dries. I love the spray bottle. PLEASE do not quit making your hair rinses.... They are great! That'd be like having really good all natural vanilla ice cream to eat, (which is yummy by its self) but no fresh strawberries to top it. (or any fresh berries, or chocolate, etc.,) which make it perfect. :)
This gets the soap residue out of my hair (bad water), and brings out highlights. Pleasant scent.
Ever since I had my baby I've had horrible itchy dry scalp and tried everything! This has worked wonders! I love it! Thank you!
This is by far the best apple cider rinse. It may be cheaper to just use apple cider vinegar on your hair, but it is so much easier to use this spray bottle without having to premeasure or pour yourself and the smell is so much better than straight vinegar. I love the infused herbal scents and I love that I can use it after I shower as a detangler too
I've used a few different natural rinse methods (including ACV, diluted with purified water) and none of them compare to how soft my hair feels after I use AVNS's herbal rinse. The added herbals really make all the difference!
Left hair very soft!
I know some of you don't like the smell of acv but to me I love this smell because my hair doesn't smell of chemicals but of God's creations and the smell reminds me of the ways I am living to live for Him and not this world that is full of fake fragrances.
Although my sprayer did not work, I transferred it to another spray bottle and went on about my shower. I love it. I was using a white vinegar rinse and this one beats that to pieces. I use it after my conditioner and rinse it clean. It makes my hair even softer after it's conditioned.
This spray is certainly convenient and keeps me from wasting a bunch of vinegar by just pouring it over my head. It has made my hair look a lot nicer after 2 weeks of using it. For myself personally, I noticed that if I spray the top of my head, it makes my scalp look oily really fast the day after, although that's probably because I have fine hair and pretty oily skin to begin with. I've stuck now to just spraying the length of my hair and my scalp on the sides of my head. I think my only complaint is that the sprayer makes the mist so fine that it's hard not to breathe the ACV in through my nose when I'm spraying. I've had to hold my breath and spray a little at a time. Still, I would definitely recommend this product!
I've been using apple cider vinegar to rinse my hair for 27 years now, but this is simply moreconvenient and easy to use. The smell isn't as strong so it won't burn your eyes as much if you use it while you shower.
