Our best selling Kitchen Salt & Spice bar is an excellent choice for cleaning odors from hands with its rich, spicy, fabulous scent. It's my favorite bar for the kitchen, especially after chopping onions or working with garlic or peppers. It has two odor-killing ingredients: coffee and anise essential oil. This bar is also my husbands favorite for getting the dirt and grime off this hands after working outside or in the garage, he says there is nothing like it! Need exfoliation? Ground coffee beans and salt will do the trick to get off stubborn dirt. But you'll also want to keep your hard working hands moisturized, softened, and protected, so we've packed this bar with loads of unrefined shea nut butter. European spa salt makes this bar antibacterial, rock hard, and long lasting. No more mushy soap by the kitchen sink. Really, there's nothing not to love about this bar.

Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic shea nut butter, and castor bean, european spa salt, organic coffee, organic coffee grounds, and essential oils of anise, cinnamon leaf, cassia, organic may chang, lemon, organic eucalyptus, organic rosemary, ginger, and clove.

Great for camping too!
The sink salt bars are great for so many reasons but I recently discovered they are brilliant for camping too. Not only do they do a great job of removing cooking odours from your hands but are really great for doing dishes when camping. Just rub on a sponge and go! Much more convenient to pack for travelling than a bottle of detergent :)

Great bar of soap!
After trying a sample of the Kitchen Salt and Spice Bar, I ordered several more bars for myself and extra bars to give to my sisters. This bar really does remove onions/garlic smells from your hands. I use cold water to 'help' the process. I also use this soap bar in the kitchen for general hand cleaning. I also put one in the bathroom as it removes stubborn dirt from gardening, etc with its 'rough' texture. Makes a good lather too. And it is lasting and lasting. I put a loofah-type mat underneath the bars to prevent 'melting' away soap between uses. Has reduced liquid soap purchases for sure too. One bar does it all for us!

It really works!
I bought this because it was touted as taking garlic and onion smells off hands and I wanted to try it out. Well, it really works. It has a really nice smell to it too. Definitely recommend it.

Surprise! New Shop Soap
I brought this bar out to help clean up after my brother and I worked on my motorcycle all day. We had fuel, grease and grime on our hands and this Salt Bar 'handled' it nicely! No stains in the cracks of my fingers and it made the smell of machines disappear. A winner for sure.. Thanks Apple Valley Soap!

It works wonderfully
I really love the way this works to remove cooking smells and such by the sink. I am not a huge fan of the way the bar smells on its own, but it is very mild on your hands post washing. It works really well for smell removal but doesn't lather/cream the way the lime bar does. Lime is still my preferred but I will take this over GoJo to remove stink ANY day.

Over a month and still going strong...
I put this bar next to my kitchen sink, atop a cedar soap deck, well over a month ago. It's still quite large, and not gooey in the slightest. The smell is fantastic as well. With my sensitive skin I have to use mostly unscented products, which smell like petroleum, so this is a huge improvement. These will definitely be my go to kitchen sink bar from now on.

Good for so many purposes
I originally purchased this to replace my liquid soap dispenser at my kitchen sink, but it has now become my kitchen-everything. I rub it on my sponges to clean my counter tops and use it as my first line of defense against stuck-on-food for my pans. Awesome stuff!
