Product Overview
Our all natural lavender Castile soap delivers a softly scented floral cleansing experience for your hands, face and body. Effective yet nourishing to skin. This premium Castile type liquid soap's main ingredient is organic virgin olive oil, which deeply penetrates the skin, moisturizing and nourishing while cleansing. We've also chosen to combine the olive oil with a rich blend of premium oils to create a thick and versatile soap with creamy lather, gently cleansing while moisturizing, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth. This is our favorite liquid soap to use with sensitive or irritated skin because the lavender essential oil adds a soothing component while cleansing.
The packaging for our liquid soaps are eco-friendly bottles** made from bamboo and sugarcane pulp, which are not only 100% recyclable, but also 98% landfill biodegradable.
For hands and face; fill one of our hand thrown ceramic soap pumps for every day use by the sink, or dilute this soap with water and fill a foaming soap pump. Approximately 1-2 Tablespoon to 8 oz of water, add more soap if needed.
For body; use in the shower or bath as a rich and cleansing, yet gentle body wash. Some even love using it as a shampoo!
For household; dilute with water and use as use it to rinse food, clean dishes, mop, wash your dog, as well as your laundry. Approximately 2 Tablespoons to 32-64 ounces of water.
Made with all natural and organic ingredients, the uses are endless.
As with all our other soaps, this liquid soap is cruelty-free, synthetic-free, petroleum-free, free from sulfates, parabens, artificial colors and phthalates.
Ingredients: purified water, saponified oils of organic extra virgin olive, castor, organic coconut, organic unrefined shea butter, organic jojoba. Mediterranean Sea salt and lavender essential oil.
Bottle size: 16.9 fl oz (500mL)
We unfortunately forgot to list water as an ingredient on our current labels, but water is in the soap. Water is always used in the soap making process, but it is not necessary to label it when referring to bars of soap when the oils and butters are listed as saponified. We use additional water in the liquid soap to change the soap (saponified oils and butters) from a paste to a thick liquid soap, that's why it should be listed.
Shelf Life: As the Eco Bottles will break down over time, we recommend using our liquid soap within 10-12 months.

**More information about our eco-friendly bottles from our supplier Best Eco Bottle:
What are the components of the Paper Water Bottle?
-
Outer shell of bamboo and sugarcane pulp
-
Inner barrier made of proprietary formulation of PET and ENSO RESTORE™
-
Cap liner with pulp cover
Is the bottle fully recyclable?
Yes…100%. Just separate the pulp outer shell from the inner barrier to recycle.
Will the entire bottle convert to clean energy?
98% of the bottle is made of material that biodegrades in a landfill*. After the cap liner is upgraded, 100% of the cap material will biodegrade in a landfill*.
Why does the bottle need a pulp outer shell?
The pulp outer shell provides structural integrity for the bottle as we continue to reduce the thickness of the inner barrier (eventually to almost nothing).
What does “converts to clean energy” mean?
Moisture and naturally occurring microorganisms (such as bacteria, fungi and algae) exist in landfills. They transform the bottle into inert humus (dirt) and biogases (including methane).
Many municipalities collect biogases from their landfills and use it to generate electricity.
How does ENSO RESTORE™ convert the inner barrier to clean energy?
ENSO RESTORE™ is an additive to our barrier material comprised of organic materials designed to attract microbial activity. These microorganisms, upon consuming the ENSO material, excrete enzymes that weaken and depolymerize the plastic. The result is biogases and inert humus*.
ENSO RESTORE™ accelerates the natural biodegradation of plastics in biologically active landfills* and anaerobic digesters as validated by independent, certified laboratories using ASTM international test methods.
*Independent third-party testing has shown up to 30.3% biodegradation in just 390 Days in landfill-replicated testing (ASTM D5526).
