If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. A Latte you can have daily
I do love the smell of coffee and seeing as how I'm now a brunette, it was just a matter of time before I ordered this one. This is a great smelling bar. I liked the way it lathered and how my hair felt afterwards. The scent lingers which is something I want my shampoo to do. There is a great cinnamon smell which makes this a wonderful holiday bar in addition to any other time of the year.

Love this shampoo bar
This is my second-favorite Apple Valley shampoo bar, Lavender Buttermilk being my favorite. The Latte Brunette bar lathers wonderfully and leaves my hair sweet smelling and very clean. My hair doesn't feel quite as conditioned as it does with the Lavender Buttermilk bar, but it still dries smooth and manageable. I can't attest to whether it makes my dark brown hair any darker though because I'm constantly switching this bar out with the Lavender Buttermilk bar and haven't given it a true trial run on the color. This bar doesn't really have any coffee scent but it does smell heavenly so there's really not much disappointment there.

Amazing lather and scent
Love this shampoo! Just a couple of swipes along the length of my hair and I have oodles of lather. I use an apple cider vinegar rinse and my hair feels clean and soft. I allow the shampoo bar to dry between uses and keep it in my lingerie drawer!

Love this bar. Works great with my wavy hair (have to use the vinegar rinse too) and the scent is wonderful. I bought it again!

great for dark long hair
Love the smell of this bar, is very mild but still you can smell it through out the day, Leaves my hair soft and shiny and I have also noticed it doesn't break and fall as much

This is my first time ever using shampoo bars and to my surprise my hair is amazing now!! I have black straight and thick long hair and severe allergies to preservatives and some chemicals, so I needed something that will work for my allergies but leave my hair nice looking and this is it! definitely coming back to get more.

Everything it promises
I have dark, semi-curly hair that must be conditioned well or it is a frizzy mess. However, since stopping the use of chemical shampoos and using this bar, I have not used a conditioner once. As others have mentioned, after washing and rinsing my hair, it feels almost squeaky clean...too clean...needs conditioner. BUT, I guess that is just the feel of clean hair, not chemicaly stripped hair because once it is dry, it is soooo soft. I think it may still need a once-in-a-while deep condition, but not so far. I did purchase the Jojoba oil and put a dab on before drying, not because it needs it, but I'm experimenting with different uses for the oil. Oh, and my skin loves it too and some how gives a closer shave than shaving cream. I'm hooked!

Best Shampoo Bar Ever
I love this bar. I have course, dry, curly 3c/4a hair and this bar leaves it clean, moisturized and ready to receive my conditioner and leave ins. Again...I love this bar.

Awesome Shampoo Bar!
I have very fine, thin & long medium brown hair. Usually it just "hangs" there. After using this bar just once, I am so happy with the difference in my hair! It feel so soft & healthy. It was the first time in years that I did not follow with conditioner. Love the smell...very subtle :)
