Acne Battle Face and Body Bar

I have been using this bar now for 2 years and LOVE it! I am 29 and still suffer from a bit of acne, but using this has significantly helped. Also, I love that it lasts me forever! One bar lasts me between 4-6 months, which is VERY cost efficient. Highly recommend!

This has replaced all my other facial soaps/cleansers/gels. My completion has never looked better (and I'm in my 30's!)

I've never taken the time to write a review on anything before but I love this soap so much I had to! My face has cleared up so much since using this bar! I still get an occasional pimple, but my face feels and looks so much healthier now! I had tried many things to stop my skin from breaking out including creams and medications from dermatologists and this bar by far works better than anything else I've tried! It also makes me feel so much better to know that I'm using all natural products and saving money! My face does not have the dried out tight feeling that I would get with other products. I have been using this bar morning and night for about 2 months and it is just now almost gone. I already ordered 3 more bars to use and will continue ordering more! I hope this product never gets discontinued!!

I know everyone's skin reacts differently when it comes to soaps, creams, and lotions, but I learned a long time ago that my skin breaks out primarily when it's been mistreated by too-harsh chemicals and has become dry. It's ridiculously hard to find a promoted, natural full-body soap for sensitive and/or acne-prone skin, so I was delighted to get a sample of this product. Going from using another natural castile/essential oils soap to this was an obvious change for the better. My skin felt much more moisturized when I got out of the shower, and I didn't itch and crave body lotion as I normally would. After a couple days of use, my skin calmed down visibly from its prior breakout on my arms and back while it soaked up the oily goodness without being greasy or gross. It was totally balanced, which is helping to balance out my natural oils. They're there for a reason, folks! Love this bar and cannot wait to try others as well as get a full order of this one.

I've been suffering from moderate adult acne for about 8 years now since the onset of my 20s, and it's been increasingly embarrassing the older I get. After oral antibiotics, creams, ointments, even hormone medication, I just kind of gave up because nothing really helped and I hated putting those kinds of chemicals into my body. My co-worker recommended this soap and as with every new product, I had low expectations but thought it couldn't hurt to try. Lo and behold, after a week or so, it's balanced my oily skin yet kept it moisturized, kept me from the usual cystic breakout around the most hormonal time of the month, and it has already faded some of my leftover dark spots. If it continues to work like this I may as well stock up for life! I went out without concealing makeup for the first time in a long time yesterday...so grateful and happy right now.

My entire skin care story would span several pages. I’ve had issues with acne since I was 9, even though I was taught to take care of my face from an early age. I’ve tried prescription creams and antibiotics, not to mention numerous skin care regimens that all promised to obliterate my acne. Some of them worked, for a price. My skin would be red, dry, itchy and painful, and most of them would just make my acne worse. I gave the last skin care line I tried a year to achieve the desired results, and it was somewhat successful, but not any more successful than some others I’d tried in the past. I was about to admit defeat when I ran across a blog that mentioned Apple Valley Natural Soap. I wish I could remember which one, so that I could write to the blogger and thank him/her. I don’t even remember if the article I was reading that day was talking about this bar or not because I was also researching natural shampoo at the time, but it led me here and I found this little miracle and decided that at $6 it was worth a shot. It didn’t take a year, or a month, I noticed minor results the day after I started using it. Within a week I was sold. There are still some stubborn blackheads hanging in there, but I continue to see improvement. They've been there for 16 years, I figure it'll take a bit to rid myself of them completely. The only negative reaction is a tendency for my skin to feel a bit tight, but the wonderful argan oil available here takes care of that, as does the jojoba oil. I’ve lost track of how long I’ve been using it but I think I’m early in month three. I still haven’t gone through a whole bar and I use it morning and night. Needless to say, I will repurchase and recommend this to anyone I know with an acne problem.

I have been using this product for a week now. I have been suffering from cystic acne for a month now for the first time in my life. I tried over the counter products as well as the OCM. Generally the OCM works fine but the acne was so painful. It has been a week and there are no more big pimples left. There are still some that are healing but they are no longer active. I am using it with a witch hazel toner and with the argan oil that I also bought from here and my face really does glow. I love using all natural products and buying from an American, faith based company really makes it all even better.

Loved this acne bar from day one!! Used it on my 12 and ten year olds & saw instant results in the morning!! Works great especially for black head on the nose which is what we were trying to battle!! The bar smells great & is gently yet works very strong!! Loved it!

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now & I love it. I have to hold my breath while I'm using it, but it's totally worth it!! I skipped a day of using it & had a small blemish appear on my chin. Washed my face with this bar that night, added a dab of benzoyl peroxide lotion on it, & the next day it was gone. This soap doesn't dry out my skin like other acne products do. I will continue to use it!!
