Calendula Castile Bar (Unscented)

Our unscented Calendula Castile bar, using 100% organic virgin olive oil, deeply penetrates the skin, moisturizing and nourishing while cleansing. A true Castile soap is the most gentle and mild of soaps, safe even for babies and those with ultra-delicate skin. You will not get a bubbly lather from a Castile bar, but rather a rich, thick, creamy, highly emollient lather that is perfect for shaving. This is our favorite bar to use on babies and small children (but see my note below on this subject). This is the bar of choice if anyone in your family has eczema. True Castile soaps made with only olive oil are a gentle and effective option for even the most sensitive of skin.

There is no added scent to this bar, but it has a delicious, natural scent all on its own.

**You may have noticed a small price increase on all our Castile soaps, both liquid and bar soap. This unfortunately is due to an almost 100% increase in cost of Organic Olive Oil since this time last year. Olive Oil is the main ingredient in all our Castile soaps, so as you can imagine we've taken quite the hit over the past year as prices have gone up. We hope this is a temporary price increase, and as soon as Organic Olive Oil returns once again to a more reasonable cost, we'll in turn be able to drop our prices. Please note: Our soaps are all natural—and they are SOAP. Soap stings if you get it in your eyes. It's fairly easy to prevent the soap from getting into a tiny baby's eyes, but this becomes harder as they get older and move around more. The brief sting of the soap will not damage their eyes, and it will go away momentarily. My kids got soap in their eyes all the time, but if you are concerned about the sting, you'll need to stay away from soap products. There are "tear-free" shampoos, these are basically "soap-free" but we wouldn't advocate the use of them because of all the other ingredients used in such a product.
